Hawks knocked off by Lorain

On Friday, Hocking College Volleyball played host to the Commodores from Lorain County Community College in an OCCAC Division III match up. The Hawks fell to the Commodores in a hard fought 5 set match. In set one the Hawks came out strong putting away 14 kills and took the set 25-22. In the second set the Commodores bounced back to defeat the Hawks 25-13. In set three the Hawks fought back and took another close set 25-22 before falling in sets 4 and 5 25-8 and 17-15.
The Hawks were lead by Sophmores Macy Selan and Brandi Lanning. Macy racked up a total of 16 Kills in the match and Brandi had 9 Kills of her own.
Hocking returns to action tomorrow when they take on the #2 ranked Owens Express.
