HAWKS FALL TO SINCLAIR IN HOME FINALE
Nelsonville, Ohio
Hocking College played host to OCCAC opponent Sinclair Community College on Wednesday night. The Tartan Pride came in on a two game win streak and knocked off Hocking College in their final home game 94-68.
Sinclair was led in scoring by Dwayne Chastain Jr. with 27 points on 9-18 shooting from the field. Chastain was followed in scoring by Quinnten McComas with 21 and Aikean Fredrick earned a double-double scoring 12 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.
Hocking was led by sophmore forward Raysean Jones with 16 points on 7-10 shooting from the field. Jones was followed in scoring by Devonte Lash with 12, Bryce Mooring and Darnei Hairston both chipped in 10 a piece, and Keiron Morning came off the bench to score 8 points.
The Hawks will return to action on Saturday in the regular season finale at Lorain County Community College. Tip off for that contest is set for 3 pm following the women's game.
