Edson State Defeats Hocking at Home

The Edison State women's basketball team rolled to their 22nd victory Wednesday night defeating Hocking College in a league matchup 113-24.

The Chargers were led by Lauren Monnin (Versailles HS) with 20 points. Lauryn Gray (Piqua HS) had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Shania Taylor (St. Marys HS) also recorded a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Riley Culver (Wapakoneta HS) scored 14 points and 10 rebounds. Holly Frey (Ft. Loramie HS) had 13 points and Marin Reis (Dayton Christian HS) was the 6th Charger in double figures with 11.

Edison State is now 22-4 overall and 7-4 in the OCCAC. The Lady Chargers will continue league action at Sinclair Community College on Saturday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m.
