Cody named OCCAC POW in back to back weeks

Sophomore Foward Treshawn Cody was named OCCAC Player of the Week for the second straight week. In victories during the week of Nov. 18-25, The Hawks went 3-0 winning by anverage margin of thirty-eight points.
For Cody, this represents his fourth career such honor. He scored no less than 25 points in all three Hawk triumphs, shooting 55% (31-56) from the floor and 45% (4-9) beyond the arc. Cody was a major factor defensively as well, posting per-game averages of 3.3 blocks and 2.7 steals. He also added 19 rebounds and two assists while playing just 72 minutes in the trifecta of lopsided wins.
For the week of Nov 11-17, Cody made an early statement in the conference opener vs. Lakeland, the program that shared an OCCAC co-championship with Hocking last season. He dropped 33 points on 13-of-17 shooting from the floor and 7-of-8 at the charity stripe. For the week, Cody averaged 22.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game as the Hawks split a pair of contests when suffering a setback to #6 Parkland.
