Andrew Brown era opens with 31 point win

The Andrew Brown era began on Friday November 1st with a 53-22 victory over Allegany College of Maryland in the opening game of the Garrett College Tip Off Classic. The Hawks raced out to a 12-4 lead after the 1st quarter and increased that lead to double digits by halftime 22-7. The Hawks outscored the Trojans 31-13 over the last 2 quarters to close out the game. Sophomore Trinity Bellard led all scorers with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Freshmen Gianna Boyce and Hawa Ba each scored 10 points. Sophomore Emily Blevins scored 7 points but was in double digit rebounds with 10. All 7 players for the Hawks made it into the scoring column.
