Hawks open up NJCAA D2 Nationals next week

The Hocking College Hawks found out on Tuesday who their next opponent is at the 2024 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship next week, March 18-22 in Danville, IL. Hocking, champions of Region 12 Great Lakes District A Tournament, will play Region 2 Central Plains District winner South Arkansas College on Monday, March 18 at 12:00pm ET in the opening round.

Hocking enters the 20-team National Championship tourney with a 23-6 record, winners of four straight, and regular season co-champions of the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference while South Arkansas comes in with a record of 21-8.

If the Hawks beat the Stars, they will take on the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, Davidson-Davie Community College (NC), who has a nation best 32-1 record after finishing the regular season No. 2 in the final NJCAA rankings. Hocking's second round game, should they adcvance, would be on Tuesday March 19 at 12:00pm ET.
