Stromack joins Softball Staff as Pitching Coach

Hocking College Softball Coach Rick Walker has announced the addition of Hocking College 2024 graduate Kristen Stromack to the team's coaching staff. Stromack will be coaching the pitching staff. 

"I am very excited to add Kristen to the staff. She will bring a lot of energy, a great work ethic and add to the culture we have set in the program", said Walker.

Stromack was a two year letter winner at Hocking where she was a pitcher for the Hawks.

Over the course of her time at Hocking, Stromack appeared in 29 ganes and made 20 starts. Her final season of 2024 was her best as a Hawk as she posted single-season bests in starts (13), innings pitched (97), and strikeouts (124).

Stromack eaned the 2023 Golden Glove award from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference, while earning 2024 Pitcher of the Year from the OCCAC and also earned All-Region Honors in Region 12 of the NJCAA and was selected to the Region 12 All Tournment Team. Stromack earned a Business Management degree from Hocking and cuurently resides in Athens.
